Dear devotees,
We have the pleasure of inviting you for a very special festival. A festival in which sravanam, hearing, will be the main focus. This hearing will not only be directly from the Srimad Bhagavatam, the ripe fruit of all vedic literature but also from that spoken by highly realized souls. Taking time out to just sit down and listen carefully to the transcendental glories of Lord Krsna will inspire and strengthen our spiritual journey. With the hope of serving the vaisnava community under the shelter of Sri Sri Radha Madana Mohan, we are honoured to organize such a festival.
“ Men become strong and stout by eating sufficient grains, but the devotee who simply eats ordinary grains but does not taste the transcendental pastimes of Lord Krsna gradually becomes weak and falls down from the transcendental position. However, if one drinks but a drop of the nectar of Krsna’s pastimes, his body and mind begin to bloom, and he begins to laugh, sing and dance.“ CC Madhya 25.278
प्यारे भक्तो,
हम आप सबको एक अद्भुत उत्सव में आमन्त्रण करना चाहते हैं, जिसमें मुख्यतः श्रवण करने के लिए बहुत कुछ होगा। केवल श्रीमद् भागवतम् ही नहीं अपितु भगवद् अनुभूति प्राप्त भक्तों के श्रीमुख से श्रवण करने का अवसर भी मिलेगा। भगवान श्रीकृष्ण की अद्भुत लीलाओं को श्रवण करने से हमें आध्यात्मिक बल मिलता है। भगवान श्रीश्रीराधा मदनमोहन जी की कृपा से, सभी भक्तों की सेवा करने की इच्छा से, हम इस उत्सव का आयोजन कर रहे हैं।
मनुष्य अन्न खा कर केवल अपने शरीर को तुष्ट करता है। जबकि भगवान का भक्त भगवान की लीलाओं का रसास्वादन कर अपने शरीर, आत्मा, मन, बुद्धि, आदि सभी को तुष्ट करता है।
इस अद्भुत उत्सव में श्रीराम गोविन्द स्वामी, श्रीमुकुन्द दत्त प्रभु, श्रीब्रजसुन्दर प्रभु जैसे श्रेष्ठ भक्त विभिन्न विषयों पर चर्चा करेंगे।
